PAS (Penilaian Akhir Semester) atau juga sebelumnya dikenal dengan sebutan UAS (Ulangan Akhir Semester) merupakan kegiatan penilaian yang dilakukan pada akhir semester berdasarkan kalender pendidikan Indonesia. Siswa yang nantinya memperoleh nilai PAS/UAS sesuai standar KKM/KBM yang sudah disepakati oleh waka kurikulum dan juga dewan guru maka dapat dipastikan bahwa siswa tersebut sudah memahami materi yang disampaikan oleh Bapak/Ibu Guru. Akan tetapi, jika siswa mendapatkan nilai kurang dari KKM guru, peserta didik dapat melakukan perbaikan soal dan melaksanakan program remedial.
Soal UAS/PAS Bahasa Inggris Kelas 9 SMP/MTS Semester 1 Kurikulum 2013 Tahun 2020 yang akan Andronezia bagikan ini telah disesuaikan dengan panduan penulisan soal-soal PAS/UAS SMP/MTS dengan HOTS. Yang tentunya supaya mengikuti Surat Edaran Pemerintah yang baru-baru ini di publikasikan oleh Kemendikbud yang berbunyi bahwa soal-soal UAS/PAS SMP/MTS ataupun soal-soal ulangan yang lain pada Kurikulum 2013 harus memenuhi ketentuan standar soal terbaru dan harus sudah terintegrasi dengan pembelajaran HOTS (Higher Order Thinking Skills).
Selain itu, Soal PAS/UAS Bahasa Inggris Kelas 9 SMP/MTS Semester 1 Kurikulum 2013 ini juga dibuat dari perkiraan soal-soal latihan UAS/PAS Kurikulum 2013 dan juga bersumber dari kisi-kisi soal Kurikulum 2013.
Akan tetapi meskipun berlandaskan pada HOTS dan perkiraan soal-soal latihan PAS/UAS serta bersumber dari kisi-kisi soal Kurikulum 2013, Andronezia sangat menyadari bahwa soal-soal UAS/PAS yang Admin bagikan ini masih jauh dari sempurna. Namun tidak ada salahnya jika Bapak/Ibu Guru menjadikan Soal-soal PAS/UAS Bahasa Inggris Kelas 9 SMP/MTS Semester 1 Kurikulum 2013 sebagai bahan referensi.
